About this path

A French-language curriculum path for Terminale générale mathematics speciality. Cards cover calculations, proofs, graph reading, and algorithms with checkable answers and explanations.

Who is this for?

For students following mathematics speciality in French Terminale générale. It does not cover the separate maths expertes or maths complémentaires options.

Before you begin

  • Master functions, derivatives, sequences, and probability from Première speciality.
  • Calculate with powers, fractions, and standard equations.
  • Read and write short Python programs.

What you will practise

  • Reason with quantifiers, induction, and counting.
  • Model with sequences, limits, derivatives, logarithms, and integrals.
  • Describe lines and planes in space using dot products and projections.
  • Calculate and interpret binomial probabilities, sample means, and concentration bounds.
  • Write and check short algorithms for calculation and threshold searches.

Curriculum and sources

Scope follows the Terminale générale mathematics speciality programme published in the 25 July 2019 special Bulletin officiel and still applicable for the 2026 school year. The 2026 programme reaches Terminale from the 2027 school year. Erudico examples are original; sources support the mathematical notions.

Common questions

Is this the French Terminale mathematics speciality?

Yes. It covers the speciality programme applicable in 2026; maths expertes and maths complémentaires are distinct options.

Does it practise proofs?

Yes. Cards explicitly require induction, Pascal’s relation, the binomial formula, uniqueness from monotonicity, and integration by parts.

Can I study in English?

Yes. The English cards preserve domains, quantifiers, and mathematical conventions from the French source.

Must I study chapters in order?

The suggested order builds prerequisites, but you can open the chapter you need directly. Cards complement written problems, constructions, and running programs.
